The organisation's highest decision-making body is the General Meeting of the Board of Directors, which consists of representatives of the CTM-E representative network groups.

The General Meeting of the Board of Directors also approves CTM-E`s strategic plans, annual plans, and annual budgets and makes other decisions that guide the research initiatives, organization, and network guidance.
