About us
Counter-Terrorism Medicine Europe (CTM-E) is a research and innovation project. It aims to dive deep into the technological aspects of pre-hospital life support, triage, and strategies for using emerging technologies for medical response to terror-related attacks.
The hope is that by the end of the project, we will have enough evidence to support the broader adoption of tools that could optimise the current procedure and methods, enhancing the operational capacities of emergency medical services and partner agencies in terror-related mass casualty incidents. The CTM-E project will look into potentially integrating T.E.C.C., new technologies (ML, UASS, software) into the emergency medical response. These new technologies will be destined for emergency medical services and partner agencies, including fire brigades, police, search and rescue, volunteers, bystanders, and medical tactical response units).
The CMT-E Research Project Consortium comprises four partner organisations from three states and associated countries. Counter-Terrorism Medicine Europe currently funds the project in its entirety, and no grants have been agreed upon. Counter-Terrorism Medicine Europe coordinates the Research Programme. Yolvo Limited is the CTM-E partner responsible for the dissemination and communication efforts of the project. Yolvo Limited is committed to processing personal data responsibly, securely, and ethically throughout our activities in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2016/679 and the UK GDPR.
